Eligibility & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification (as on 15.10.2025):
  • 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Science & Mathematics from a recognized board.
    OR
  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
• Professional Requirement:
  • Proficiency in Computer Operation (qualifying in nature).
  • English word processing speed – 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
  • Basic computer functions test (MS Office, printing, saving, formatting, etc.).

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. rules
  • Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years (UR/EWS), 43 years (OBC), 45 years (SC/ST)

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 Marks

   • Computer Fundamentals/MS Office/Internet – 10 Q
     (12th standard level, 90 minutes duration, negative marking: 0.25 marks)
2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) – Qualifying
3. Trade Test (Reading & Dictation) – Qualifying
4. Computer Proficiency Test – Qualifying (Word Processing & Basic Computer Functions).
