Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) with Physics, Chemistry, and English from a recognized Board.
- Must possess basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
- Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years (as on last date of application – 11.09.2025)
- Age relaxation as per Gujarat Govt. rules:
- General Female: +5 years (max 38 years)
- Reserved Category Male: +5 years (max 38 years)
- Reserved Category Female: +10 years (max 43 years)
- PwD candidates: up to 45 years depending on category
- Ex-servicemen: service period + 3 years relaxation
Salary
- Fixed Pay: ₹26,000/- per month for the first 5 years.
- After 5 years, eligible for Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200/-) as per 7th Pay Commission.

- Part A – Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 Marks) = 60 Marks
- Part B – Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension (30 Marks), Subject Related Questions (120 Marks) = 150 Marks
- Total Marks: 210
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
- Candidates must score minimum 40% in both Part A and Part B to qualify.
