Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification:
- Code 101: 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
- Code 102: Matric + ITI (Fitter) of minimum 2 years duration
- Code 103: 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
- Code 104: 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Refinery & Petrochemical Engg.
- Code 105: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Code 106: 3 years Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Code 107: 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Electronics / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation
- Code 108: 3 years B.A./B.Sc./B.Com
- Code 109: 3 years B.Com
- Code 110: Class XII Pass (Fresher Apprentice)
- Code 111: Class XII Pass + Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator
Minimum Marks:
- 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved seats).
- Qualification must be regular full-time course from recognized institute.
Candidates with BE/B.Tech/MBA/CA/LLB/MCA or higher qualifications are not eligible.
Age Limit (As on 31.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (additional relaxation as per category)
Salary / Stipend
Stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation guidelines

Selection Process
- No Written Test
- Selection will be based on percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
- Merit list will be prepared in descending order.
- In case of tie, senior candidate (by DOB) will be preferred.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
- Final selection subject to Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness.
How to Apply?
Candidates must complete both steps:
Step I – Register & Apply on NAPS/NATS Portal:
- For Codes 101, 102, 103, 108, 109, 110 & 111 → Apply via NAPS Portal
- For Codes 104, 105, 106 & 107 → Apply via NATS Portal
Candidates must register and apply using the Gujarat Refinery Establishment ID.
Step II – Fill Microsoft/Google Form:
After applying on portal, candidates must submit additional details through the official Microsoft/Google Form link available on IOCL website.
