Eligibility, Education Qualification, Experience
For Indian Economic Service (IES)
- Post-Graduate Degree in:
- Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics
- From a recognized University or Institution.
For Indian Statistical Service (ISS)
- Bachelor’s Degree with:
- Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics as one of the subjects
OR
- Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics as one of the subjects
- Master’s Degree in:
- Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Applied Statistics
- From a recognized University.
Candidates appearing in final year are also eligible (subject to conditions).
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Candidate must be born between 02 August 1996 and 01 August 2005
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC – 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen – 5 Years
- PwBD – 10 Years

Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in Junior Time Scale of the respective services.
- Pay Scale: Level 10 of Pay Matrix
- Approx. Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- per month
- Additional allowances as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process & Syllabus
Selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Written Examination
- Conventional Papers
- Objective Papers (with negative marking)
- Interview / Personality Test
Final selection will be based on written exam + interview performance.
