Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released a Special Recruitment Drive notification for the post of Helper. A total of 297 vacancies are available exclusively for Divyang (PwD) candidates. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through OJAS from 13 February 2026 to 12 March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
Candidate must have passed ITI (Government recognized) in any one of the following trades:
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- Mechanic Diesel
- General Mechanic
- Fitter
- Turner
- Electrician
- Sheet Metal Worker
- Auto Body Repairer
- Welder
- Welder cum Fabricator
- Machinist
- Carpenter
- Painter (General / Auto Mobile)
Additional Qualification (Preference – 15% Weightage):
Apprenticeship completed in the same trade with NCVT certificate.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- PwD Candidates: 10 years relaxation (Maximum up to 45 years)
- Birth Date Range: 12/03/1981 to 12/03/2008
Age will be calculated as on the last date of application.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive:
- Fixed Salary: ₹21,100/- per month
- Contract basis for 5 years
- After satisfactory completion of 5 years, regular appointment as per GSRTC rules

- Candidates must pay the examination processing fee before 14/03/2026 (23:59 PM).

- Weightage Calculation (70 Marks)
- ITI Marks – 55% Weightage
- Apprenticeship – 15% Weightage
- OMR Written Examination – 100 Marks (30% Weightage)
