Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division – Eastern Region has released an official notification for 144 Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship training will be provided in various states including West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The last date to apply online is 09 March 2026 (5:00 PM).

Job Overview

Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience

Trade Apprentice (ITI) – Discipline Code 107–111

• Matriculation (10th Pass)
• 2 Years Full-Time ITI in relevant trade (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist) recognized by NCVT/SCVT

Technician Apprentice – Discipline Code 101–106

• 3 Years Full-Time Diploma in relevant Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics)
• Minimum 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Graduate Apprentice – Discipline Code 112

• Regular Full-Time Graduate (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA)
• Minimum 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Code 113)

• Class 12th (Below Graduate)
• Minimum 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Important Conditions:

• Qualification must be full-time regular.
• Graduate/Technician qualification must be acquired between 01.04.2022 to 28.02.2026.
• ITI/DEO qualification must be acquired between 01.04.2021 to 28.02.2026.
• Candidates with higher professional qualifications (B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA etc.) are NOT eligible.

Age Limit (As on 28.02.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC (NCL): 3 Years
• PwBD: 10 Years (Additional as per category rules)

Salary / Stipend

The stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprentices Rules 1992/2019/2025 (as amended from time to time).
