Eligibility – Education Qualification & Experience

• Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized board.
• Must possess 1-year Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma or 1-year Health Sanitary Inspector Certificate (ITI or Govt. recognized institute).
• Must have basic knowledge of Computer Applications as per Gujarat Civil Services rules.
• Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years (as on 15-09-2025)
• Age relaxation as per government rules:
  • Women (General): +5 years
  • Reserved Category (Male): +5 years
  • Reserved Category (Female): +10 years (up to 45 years max)
  • PwD (General Male): +10 years (up to 45 years max)
  • PwD (General Female): +15 years (up to 45 years max)
  • PwD (Reserved Male): +15 years (up to 45 years max)
  • PwD (Reserved Female): +20 years (up to 45 years max)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years relaxation

Salary

• Fixed Pay: ₹26,000/- per month for first 5 years.
• After satisfactory service of 5 years, regular pay scale of ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-4, 7th CPC).

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

• Selection will be through Competitive Written Examination (MCQ – OMR/CBRT method).
• Exam Pattern:
  • Part A (60 Marks): Reasoning (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30)
  • Part B (150 Marks): Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension (30), Subject-related Questions (120)
• Total: 210 Questions, 180 minutes.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
• Candidates must score minimum 40% in Part-A and Part-B separately.
