Eligibility, Educational Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification
As per official notification:
- 10th Pass / Matriculation (10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks (excluding additional subjects) ✔️
- ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade ✔️
Medical Fitness
Candidate must satisfy the physical fitness standards under Apprentices Act 1961. Medical certificate must be issued by an authorized Railway/Government doctor as per Annexure-II.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwD: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation as per rules
Salary / Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive stipend at prescribed rates as per the Apprentices Act and Railway rules.
