Indian Air Force has released the official notification for AFCAT 01/2026 for recruitment of Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches. Eligible men and women can apply online from 17 November 2025 to 14 December 2025 through the AFCAT website.
The AFCAT 01/2026 exam will be conducted on 31 January 2026 (Saturday). Candidates selected through this examination will join training courses commencing in January 2027

Eligibility
Nationality
Candidate must be an Indian citizen. AFCAT-Registration-2025

Educational Qualification
- Flying Branch – Graduation (any discipline) with 60% marks & 50% in Physics & Maths at 10+2 or BE/BTech. AFCAT-Registration-2025
- Ground Duty (Technical) – BE/BTech in eligible engineering streams.
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – Graduation / B.Com / PG depending on field.
- NCC Special Entry – NCC Air Wing ‘C’ Certificate.
