Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University under Central/State Act/UGC Act.
- Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government are accepted.
Experience
Candidate must have about 3 years of experience in any of the following:
Option (i):
- Administrative cadre not below Head Clerk Class-III under Health, Medical Services, Medical Education & Research Department, Gujarat.
Option (ii):
- Administrative experience in
Government / Local Bodies / Government Undertaking / Board / Corporation / Limited Company (under Companies Act 2013) / University
on a post equivalent to Head Clerk Class-III.
Other Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 38 years (as on the last date of online application).
Age Relaxation
- EWS/SEBC/SC/ST (Gujarat origin): 5 years (up to 45 years)
- Women (EWS/SEBC/SC/ST Gujarat origin): 10 years (including women relaxation)
- General Category Women: 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years (up to 45 years)
- Ex-servicemen: Military service period + 3 years
Salary
- Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400
- Pay Matrix Level: Level-8 (Seventh Pay Commission)

1. Preliminary Exam (300 Marks)
- General Studies: 100 Marks
- Concerned Subject: 200 Marks
- Duration: 180 minutes
- Candidates scoring less than 15% are not eligible for Interview.
2. Interview
- Number of candidates called:
- 01 post → 10 candidates
- 02 posts → 16 candidates
- 03 posts → 18 candidates
- 04 or more posts → 3 times the number of vacancies or 20, whichever is higher.
