Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must possess a Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Catering Technology obtained from:
- National Council of Hotel Management, or
- Any recognized University established under Central/State Act in India, or
- Any institution declared as deemed university under UGC Act 1956, or
- Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
Experience:
- At least two years’ experience as:
- Manager Grade-II (Class-III) in Roads and Building Department, or
- Two years’ experience in the field of Hotel Management or Catering in a government or private two-star or higher hotel, corporation, or limited company.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 years as on 17.10.2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- Divyang (PwD): 10 years (up to 45 years max).
- Gujarat Govt Employees: As per rules mentioned in Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Matrix Level: 8 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
- Grade Pay: ₹4,600 (Old scale: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800)
