Eligibility, Educational Qualification & Experience

Educational Qualification

As per the notification:

1. HSC (12th Pass) from GSEB/NIOS/State/Central-recognized board.
2. Fireman Training Certificate (6 months) from a recognized State/Central institution.
   • OR Fireman course / Driver-cum-Pump Operator certificate from a recognized institute.
3. Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License is mandatory.
4. Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge certificate as per Gujarat Govt rules.
5. Language Knowledge: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates

Note: Minimum chest expansion must be 5 cm

For Female Candidates

Unfit Conditions

Candidates with the following conditions will be declared medically unfit:
Knock Knee, Pigeon Chest, Squint Eye, Flat Feet, Varicose Veins, Hammer Toes, Fractured Limb, Decayed Teeth, Communicable or Skin Diseases

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years (as on 23/12/2025)

Salary

As per Gujarat Finance Department rules:

• Fixed Pay for First 3 Years: ₹26,000/- per month
• After successful completion of 5 years (with conditions), candidates may be placed in Pay Matrix Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200).
