Eligibility – Education Qualification & Experience
- Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized board.
- Must possess 1-year Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma or 1-year Health Sanitary Inspector Certificate (ITI or Govt. recognized institute).
- Must have basic knowledge of Computer Applications as per Gujarat Civil Services rules.
- Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years (as on 15-09-2025)
- Age relaxation as per government rules:
- Women (General): +5 years
- Reserved Category (Male): +5 years
- Reserved Category (Female): +10 years (up to 45 years max)

- Selection will be through Competitive Written Examination (MCQ – OMR/CBRT method).
- Exam Pattern:
- Part A (60 Marks): Reasoning (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30)
- Part B (150 Marks): Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension (30), Subject-related Questions (120)
- Total: 210 Questions, 180 minutes.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Candidates must score minimum 40% in Part-A and Part-B separately.
