Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience
As per the official GSSSB notification:
- Candidate must have:
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized University in India.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
- Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Candidate must be registered with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists at the time of application.
- After constitution of Gujarat State Physiotherapist Council, registration there will be mandatory.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 23/12/2025)

Salary

Selection Process & Syllabus
Selection will be based on a Single MCQ-based written exam (CBRT/OMR) containing Part-A and Part-B.

Part-A (60 Marks)
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation – 30 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 30 marks
Part-B (150 Marks)
- Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30 marks
- Subject-related questions (Physiotherapy) – 120 marks
Total: 210 Questions
Duration: 3 Hours
Negative Marking: ¼ per wrong answer
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- 40% in Part-A
- 40% in Part-B
