Eligibility, Education Qualification, Experience
- Technician Apprentice: 3 years Diploma in respective discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Trade Apprentice (ITI Trades): Matric with 2 years ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time graduate (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th pass (but below graduate).
- Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): 12th pass + Skill Certificate in “Domestic Data Entry Operator” under NSQF.
Note: Higher professional qualifications like B.E/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, LLB etc. are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 24 years (as on 30.09.2025)
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, up to 10 years for PwBD.
Salary (Stipend)
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 4,500 (by BOAT) + remaining amount by IOCL.
- Technician Apprentice: Rs. 4,000 (by BOAT) + remaining amount by IOCL.
- Trade Apprentice: Full stipend paid by IOCL as per Apprentices Act.
