Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (Regular/Distance Learning) from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by a Government Regulatory Body.
Experience
- No prior experience required.
Additional Conditions
- The applicant must be currently engaged as GDS with the Department of Posts as on 01.08.2025.
- The applicant must have no pending vigilance or disciplinary cases and should not be serving punishment at the time of applying.

Salary / Pay Scale
- A lump sum pay of ₹30,000/- per month will be paid, inclusive of statutory deductions and contributions.

Tenure of Engagement
- Engagement will be for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance and business requirements.
- Not eligible for regular absorption in IPPB.
- A 2-year cooling-off period applies after completion of tenure before re-engagement.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit — the percentage of marks obtained in graduation.
