The Preliminary Examination will be conducted on 24 May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
✅ Educational Qualification
- Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
- Final year students are also eligible (proof required at Interview stage).
✅ Nationality
- For IAS, IFS, IPS – Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- For other services – as per UPSC rules (India/Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugee etc.).
Age Limit (As on 01 August 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
- Candidate must be born between 02 August 1994 and 01 August 2005
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC – 3 Years
- PwBD – 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen – As per rules
Salary
Salary will be as per 7th Pay Commission.
- IAS/IPS/IFS & Group A Services: Pay Level 10
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- per month + Allowances
