UPSC NDA Recruitment 2026: Total 394 posts for Army, Navy & Air Force. Apply online at upsconline.nic.in. Last date to apply is 30 December 2025

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for NDA & NA Examination (I) 2026 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings. A total of 394 vacancies have been announced for the National Defence Academy (157th Course) and Indian Naval Academy (119th INAC). Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online till 30 December 2025. The written exam will be held on 12 April 2026.

Eligibility, Education Qualification & Experience

Nationality

Candidate must be:

  • Citizen of India OR
  • Subject of Nepal OR
  • Person of Indian origin migrated from approved countries with intention of permanent settlement

Age Limit

  • Born not earlier than 01 July 2007 and not later than 01 July 2010.
  • Only unmarried male/female candidates are eligible

Educational Qualification

  • Army Wing (NDA): 12th pass (10+2 pattern).
  • Air Force, Naval Wing & 10+2 Cadet Entry: 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  • Candidates appearing in Class 12 exam may also apply. nda

Experience

  • No prior experience required.

  • Must meet physical standards given in Appendix-III of notification
